Which brake Levers

Im building a single speed fitted with side pull calipers and want to run flat bars with a mountain bike style lever and after looking on ebay im a little confused as which to buy.........Can someone point me in the right directions or even better has anyone got anything suitable for sale.

Anything for cantis, not V-levers should work.

V-levers pull too much cable.

I think they look more appropriate on a vintage road frame myself. Shimano also sells a road specific brake lever and pod shifter. They come in silver in case that matters.

The Velo-Orange ones look like a copy of the old Weinmann ones. You may find some at a jumble or even on here with a Wanted ad.

I liked the look of the Shimano R550 Levers so have ordered a set seeing as the rest of the bike will be shimano equipped.

Crosstop or Dia Compe levers like the Dirty Harry work well. Tektro do a cheaper version of the Crosstop.

I thought about those, but aren't they the wrong size for a flat bar? I suppose you could run them with shims. I got them for my wife's bike - they do work well and are very minimalist.
