Wheelbase in Staveley too after Biketreks!

Ended up working in Wheelbase then worked at their hire centre in Grizedale Forest summer '95

Dave Mellor Cycles & Stan Jones Cycles in Shrewsbury and Pearce Cycles in Ludlow.

Actually, they're still my Favorites.

Simply the bike - at the top of Belgrave Road in Torquay. Just opposite the Church.
Started up by Jimmy Allen, Managed By Jason Birkett, who went on to open his own shop Bikin Motion in Torquay doing more road stuff.

Had some really cool stuff in.

From 1990 - 1994 I worked for Pedal Power in Enfield and then Shorter Rochford Cycles in Finchley when they sponsored Leo RC. Grame Obree and Zak Carr were regulars

But the coolest shop was in Hoddesdon, Herts. Don't remember the name of it but it was owned by a Spanish guy called Miguel (who had two huge Rotweilers) and always had cool on display and for salestuff - Kleins, Manitous, Overburys and Campagnolo MTB groupsets

Yup.....Shockwave.....best bike porn in the UK BITD

LOTS of my money went in Klimbhigh in Daventry, mail order from Stif and over the counter at On Two Wheels in Bedford and Phil Corley in Milton Keynes........Corley's still get lots of shekels off me
