Which bike helmet do you have for retro riding?

I need to get myself a new helmet, and I'm confused about all the different styles available now. So, I wanted to see what other retrobikers are using these days?

Nothing retro about my helmet. For my riding I use a Exclusky helmet off of Amazon. Fits me good, good venting, stays put, and lightweight.

This is an area where I don't pay enough attention: currently using a cheapo Giant job that someone in the family bought years ago. Was horrified to look in the mirror the other day -- it looked like a massive black mushroom perched atop the bonce. It would be nice to get something a little more sleek -- no need to go retro for this, in my book.

Helmets are a bloody minefield! Oval fit, round fit, half a dozen different things like Mips, Kineticore, etc

Then there are the different standards and 3 different bodies testing the bloomin' things and other bodies saying that hair and test dummy heads mounted on spines can reverse the helmet ratings etc

i have been trying to find the perfect helmet for quite a while. What i have found is one manufacturers medium can be very different to the next and online photos from helmet reviews are worth diddly squat.

Be prepared to try on alot of helmets if you have any particular requirements. If all you want is a bottle top then it is much easier.

Virginia Tech is the university that independently tests bicycle helmets and ranks them.

Based on their review I decided on this helmet as it was highly ranked and a reasonable price.
