I'm converting from v brakes to hydraulic discs.
I've got a set of Avid Elixir 5s and a set of Clarks Skeletal, not sure which would be better to use.
So far I've fitted the front skeletal, not fitted the rear yet as I've got to sort out my rear wheel still.
First impression of the skeletal is it isn't very sharp but may just be the new pads not run in yet.
The elixirs need a service, i've found a kit quite cheap. Would it be worth servicing these rather than using the clarks?
