Where to buy RAL paints and dealing with rust.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but people with older bikes are more likely to have needed paint, I suppose, so...

I have a GT Tequesta which has been powder-coated RAL 2009 (orange). I cleaned it today and found that the bit that goes between the chain stays has rusted and the coating is splitting.

I guess I should strip this bit, clean it up and paint it, while doing something to stop it getting worse (any advice on this would be welcome). I could do to touch up a few minor scrapes too.

Where should I buy appropriate paint?

Call local paint suppliers. I have an auto-paints supplier near me that mix RAL colours in aerosol or any format you need. If I can get it locally, I'm sure anyone can. (Lame town)

Even Halfords do RAL colours.

While you wait for it to be painted a little dab of rust converter will stop it spreading any further.
Available again at Halfords or a Car parts shop.
