Where Can I Get Chainring Guard For Biopace 48T Elliptical?

Fed up with getting oil marks on my socks/trainers/trousers. Where can I get a guard for my chainring, either original Shimano or aftermarket? It's 48t elliptical Biopace.

Have searched and found a couple on old Ebay listings, but nowhere else.

ive got a large girvin rockring i used with my biopace rings upto 48t was close to the limit in terms bash guard status but would be gret to keep you clean, and its retro!!

Thanks for your reply. So, you think it will fit onto my setup? Does it come with fixings, or does it use the bolts that hold on the chainring? Are you interested in selling?

Re:

Yup everything's for sale lol I'm away for a few days so cant upload a pic or owt yet.

Fitting iirc it just bolts to the outer chainring with the normal bolts. It's flared slightly to allow the chain to fit snug

Re:

One alternative I chose:
-remove the Biopace 48T
-replace it instead with a 46T or 50T (sorry, not 48T available) from the bottom road range from Shimano (FC-2450 or FC-3550) and its matching chainring guard.

They cost about 15 eur total online (12 for the ring, 3 for the chainring), they have the correct BCD (110) and they are made of steel, so they last a lot.

Whenever you want to go back to original or "racing-mode", just install back the original Biopace ring.
