Where can I find 7/8s chainrings that will fit M900 and LX BCD110?

Hi All

All in the title really, have a couple of cranksets which I would like to use again but chainrings are used. They are for 7s 1993 / 1994 bikes (were on eldrdige grade and team marin respectively). I see a lot of 9/10s that would go on BCD110 but I wish to still run 3x7s for now and am unsure those 9/10s will work fine.

Any insight much appreciated.

As a rule if they do 9 they should do 7 or 8. Sometimes 10s had an offset to the teeth from the tab, so thin chainring spacers might be necessary.

My go to website for research & price verification is SJScycles. I used to work there & I know that they tend to have most things you could want, they are quite anti-latest trends so usually just sell good quality kit avoid the cheap tat.

Thank you, they are referenced for 9/10s. Does that mean that those rings would work the same with a 7/8s chain, as well as a 9s and 10s chain out of the box?

Or am I going to need to fiddle with ring spacers of different thickness (I really hope not )

No they work fine. I've used them for years.

The other ive used is TA zephyr, but those are well spendy now. They are also quoted as 10 speed.

I just bought a really good cond set of Shimano SG rings for £22, used but good condition. They are out there still.

The inside dimensions of 7,8,9 speed chain links are essentially the same so the chainring teeth are also the same dimensions.
