My Conti Comp Pro 1 must be getting on for eight years old now - retro in its own right and discontinued for most of this millennium. I've been out-climbing and clearing climbs in all conditions for so long and I know the rear tyre has been the reason. When it finally succumbs, what sort of retro-chic rubber can I plonk on the back of my Indian Fire Trail? Back in the day I loved Panaracer Smoke Lite Comps and didn't find anything as good until I stumbled on the Conti.
