Hi,
I'm looking for 2 wheels for a Zaskar LE GT. The bike has a XTR M900 groupset on it, and a XTR in the middle of the wheel back and front. I would prefer them to be as new as possible, as well as being quite light, and it should have already been built with rim tape, spokes e.t.c. I would prefer them to be Mavic as they appear to be the best brand. Open to suggestions.

got a wheel set made by xtr 970 hubs, black mavic 717 rims and black dt comp spokes. very lightweight.

I got a set of built up XTR M900 Hubs 32 hole with Mavic 231 rims, also got the original XTR wheel quick releases.

I would be interested in both, if wheels are true and if the bearings are smooth. I would also expect a long life of the wheels, lasting for a few thousand miles. Also a bump, if you have any that match my requirements please send me a PM. I'm sending a few messages to people as I need these wheels to be on my bike by next Tuesday at latest.

Yeah good idea, then you will only have yourself to blame when you fail to get 8000 miles out of one pair of rims :roll:

I weigh 55kg, the hubs and spokes were replaced recently, and according to the previous rider of the bike, it lasted around 10,000 with a 85-90kg rider. The wheels may be of lesser quality compared to those on the bike at this moment of time, but I just want the bike working again, managing to complete at least 4,000 miles, with 8,000 being an eventual goal. I'm going to speak to a wheel builder tomorrow, and thought of yours as the used one to go to if I cant build them.
