Catalogue Wheeler catalogues, adverts, articles and chat.

Can do these quickly with a camera.

Should be general compline info, the 5500 details and a close up picture of 5500 suntour 8 speed AP-II freewheel and new XC expert mech.

And the geometry, for the compline. IMG_20220417_113328_edit_181696006008732.jpg

I can add the 6600 compline was f1.899, the 4800 proline was f1.699 incl of 17.5%BTW.. That's the models either side.

So my guess is ~f1800 ;-)

I'll get mine up soon, they've been scanned for a while. Just forgot to put them up.

BUT @F1dla in the 1993 what do you want. It's an A3 Catalogue and will be an arse to scan until I get to work and time to scan there, if it lets me easily.
My 1992 is a shorter different version.

and I can't believe it's been almost a year
Hi, I'm still very curious to see the full 1993 catalog.
I know it some effort, maybe use even a camera instead of a scanner and do pictures from the top per page to avoid struggles due to the big format?
Would you mind to do us this favor?

Especially the 1993 seem to be interesting as also the 8900 full suspension potentially made by Kent Eriksen is included, at least in some bad pictures i have seen from an 93 Wheeler brochure with mulit-language text available a while ago at ebay.
Attaching a few images I got hold so far, sure, those are not very useful, just to raise interest.
Is this the same brochure you do have too?

@FluffyChicken did you have time to scan the 1993 catalog yet?

Just like @joglo I would be very interested in the 8900 Titanium full suspension bike as I just got myself a frame with the YBB rear suspension.

actually i was still hoping to get to see the entire 1993 catalog!
I know it's some efforts, but those catalogs are rare.

For sure, the 8900 was the all-time-best-Wheeler-ever and a rare unicorn with very little information available in the web.

@jokamp Not sure if you have shown yours already in a thread somewhere here?

Just to share here what I do have, maybe those pictures fit to this thread too?

I was member of the Wheeler Racing Team between 93 and 95 . I still have one of the first Titanium Hardtail frames from 93. They were made in Taiwan...
Not sure about the softail which Mike the bike used. Never seen this in the wholesale...looks like it was a proto or showbike
Mike used the Easton version for the CC and the 8900 only once at Kaprun .

Thanks for sharing this interesting insights!
I'm sure you have more to tell. The folks here are desperadly looking for more details and pictures...

I've read somewhere that the full suspension Wheeler 8900 was built by Kent Eriksen (Moots), and sure it looks similar like the YBB.
I also think that only a limited number of Bikes have been built.
