Hey

I’m trying to convert my 26” Specialized Roval Control Trail SL rear wheel to standard 135mm QR, it’s currently setup as 142x12 but I read online you can convert it:

The rear hub converts from standard quick release to 142×12 through-axle and comes with all the required adaptors. In other words, the Rovals fit on just about any bike you’d consider running them.

Please see attached images of the rear wheel.

I think I may need adapters? If someone knows please can you direct me to the correct ones?

Scrolling down this, it looks like you have a 142 plus which has a 2mm offset freehub, which means the cassette will be 2mm closer to the frame.
This may or may not be a problem depending on your frame, but you could end up with at least a bit of chain rub.

Presuming the 142plus is the same as the others, dt swiss adapters might work. The link below could possibly fit (first review is someone using them successfully on control wheels). But it's worth investigating further.

Hi thanks for the info,
135x10? I thought it was 9mm…

Specialized rider care got back to me today and have forwarded the email to the Roval team in the US so hopefully can get it sorted and 100 percent know its going to be right.
