H hamster Retro Wizard Feedback View Jun 3, 2018 #3 For radial you need less tension as the component of the force radially is lower compared to tangential spoking. If you mean straight pull for spokes with no j-bend for the spoke head, then tension is identical to a j-spoke lacing.
