Wheel building costs .... What do you expect to pay?

Is used to think that was the going rate..... until I found slam69 in Gloucester - owned by Graham Foot.

They are cheaper - give them a call :D

I am back in Gloucester in a week ..... Hmmm.
 
I charge £45 an hour but Danish rates are a bit different and that's cheap for my market with 25% VAT.

But if people are buying expensive hubs, spokes and rims from me, I've been known to waive the labour altogether to pricematch the likes of Merlin.
 
Interesting topic this..

I'm assuming around £60-100 to build a pair of wheels if I were to supply rims + hubs???

does it make any difference to the price if they're 28/32/36h ??
