What's this Dawes?

Hello I just picked this up. It's apparently a 70's Dawes going from the badge. It has 622x18 rims. Does anyone know anything about it?

Looks like a de-stickered Dawes Mirage. My mate had one like this at school with Reynolds 500 (?) tubing, in the mid 80s though, not 70s...red stickers.

Under bottom bracket cable routing and top tube guides more likely make it 80's

Thanks guys I thought it was more 80s than 70s particularly the wheel size

They started using that badge in 1980 or '81. If these reflectors are original I think they probably date to the mid-1980s. You should be able to find date stamps on some components.

It's a fairly low-end bike with the Huret Eco derailleur and basic shifters, but it will still be perfectly usable and it looks as if a weekend or so of cleaning and greasing is all it needs to be ready to go.
