hello guy's, i'm hoping that the illuminati amoungst you can give me some guidance. i have the chance of a great Klein Manta frame, but the shock is shot, what would be the ideal replacement for this application? it has been suggested that a fox rp23 would be a good bet,but what size? i would be very gratefull for your thoughts on this,in anticipation, ashton.

The RP23 is a very good shock, highly recommended modern kit

measure your old shock (extended like the top pic), you need the eye to eye & stroke length to be the same as the old one.

I've owned 3 Mantras and the correct replacement shock is supposed to be: 170 x 43mm (6.7' x 1.7')
Cane Creek and Risse will both make a shock, along with the correct bushings, for you. The Risse will be cheaper. The Cane Creek will be plusher.
