Whats the rarest mountain bike in the world?

Re:

There is one titanium Sbike that was apparently sold by the company, but sadly I don't know its current whereabouts. If it still exists, that is.
I did hear about it shortly after it changed hands (for an undisclosed sum) and that the owner wanted to build it.
That was about 5 years ago, so the chances of it being cracked by now are rather high.

If the Berylium prototype counts, I think I can one-up it.

There are none of these. Not even this one, seeing as they didn't even finish welding it.

:p

They do things to me!

Pre production and Prototypes shouldn't count as there have been thousands of them over the years. I know the original question is a very difficult one given no real ground rules... I own a few bikes that I have never seen any other examples of, one off survivors or limited sales of production bikes? it's all a very complicated question. So I say we just post up filth like above as to make this old man happy!!

I have cranks to polish.

Controversial I know but I know of only four of these:

And one of these:

And never seen one of these in this form either, plenty with u-brakes but not full canti and this colourscheme:

Schwinn Project Underground (1997) small batch made, not many survived, not exactly a great frame but rare as hell.
Nuke Proof Carbon-Titanium , they made a couple of those (single digits) but as far as I know they were never officially offered for sale so they live in prototype limbo.
Doug Bradbury Manitou with elevated chain-stays.

The bikes suggested above ^^^ what are your figures for production and still around now?

In terms of the GT Srazak I mentioned, I think they only made 6, of which there are 13 still in existence.

My figures may be a little patchy though

Think that's a typo surely? :? ;)

Rarity is one thing, monetary value is a different thing. You don't see too many Raleigh Activator Mk1's about these days, so relatively rare, but not valuable in any sense of the word...

I think the rarest Mtb in the world has yet to be discovered, probably collecting dust in a shed somewhere until it's discovered.
