whats the best way to get the stickers off frame

hi,im stripping the stickers off a zaskar and cant get the sticky stuff left over off,ive tried hot soapy water but no good.its a polished frame so i dont want to go at it with wet n dry paper and want to know whats best
any help would be nice

if soap and alcohole dont work, try oil or butter. (No, that's not a joke.)

If you can get hold of butanol then that works really well but stinks like hell.
WD40 CAN BE GOOD.

Propanone can work but can leave a gunky patch where its dried out. Isopropanol is another but depends on the glue.

Lighter fluids might do it as petroleum spirits can work well,white spirits.. Ethanol.

Since you have no paint to worry about.

Or try warming it up and the soap and water and hard work.

I use autoglym tar & glue remover. You spray a little on and leave it for about a minute and it seems to dissolve the glue without damaging the paint.

Hair dryer and a clean cloth. Then finish with t cut.

Nail varnish remover, but only at the weekends.......

I tried hair dryer and scraping on my 20 y/o Zaskar..... it still has it old decals on.
I am considering dynamite next....

Hairdryer and peel, gasket remover, walnut media blast. Take your pick.
