Just out of curiosity I was wondering if anybody knows what this is made of

It's a 1981 Carlton Criterium, one of the last Worksop bikes I think. The seller said it was Columbus tubing but I've never seen anything to prove or disprove that. There are no stickers to say what the frame material is, and I don't think there ever have been. As far as I can tell it's quite unusual in having the cable guides on top of the top tube, there is usually at least one green Criterium on eBay but they always seem to have the cable guides on the side.
Does anybody know? I can go and take some measurements if required.
