Look carefully and you can see two m6 washers between the calliper and frame and it needs a bit more to be centred.

Cannondale f600 frame with IS mount, xtr calliper, xtr centrelock disc on dt swiss hub.

It is not a big problem as i can make a spacer, just wondering what is causing this. Either it is the hub or the frame.... i guess i could try the rear wheel in another frame, but to remember using wheel without any issues.

Re:

Are the spacers on the hub axle all correct, is the small cassette sprocket very tight to the frame the other side?

Pure IS mounts i.e. with no adaptor, have almost always required spacers. Better this way than needing to take a couple of mm off.

Re:

What's the spacer on the end of the hub axle, is it the same width as the amount you're having to move the caliper inboard?

Ok, i cracked.

Tried another wheel from another bike that originally was on a different bike and same.

Put the wheel from thr cdale to the other fame and all is fine.

Conclusion: f600 frame needs approx 3 mm spacer for both holes, which is far better than having to shave metal off.

Can't understand why as have not seen this problem before (often a shim is needed but that is one or two slivers of coke can thickness 0.1-0.2 mm). The frame dates back to the early days of disc so maybe cdale were hedging their bets until the IS standard became finalised? Most strange.

Just spotted your green arrow, that is the serrated end washer/ spacer thingy.
