What we used to wear.....

Thank god no lycra (except on my airforce helmet), all hiking boots, waxed jacket and ski trousers (well, I am from Surrey)!
Just take some time to bask in all that Euro neon though, mmm aspirintastic!

EDIT: that is a 22" frame, and I am a short arse, but then we all rode 22" frames back then. It's a wonder my bits and bobs still work quite frankly.

sure you posted one a year or two back Jez... can't find it though (you'll be glad to hear!!)

I've got a pair of those SIDI's, still going strong, though the colours faded a bit, which is probably no bad thing! ;)

Mine are still going strong too! Clashed a bit with the eggy yellow of my '90 Lavadome!

Pickle I have no idea why but your photo well makes me laugh ...

its your faces ..... "all that hard work for a new water bottle and sweat bands"

I remember buying those leggings at a climbing shop in the peaks and thinking I was THE coolest guy in the whole country at the time
 Reminds me of the Olympic logo that was making people dizzy. Thanks for the great pic.

On the other hand, I was just too cool for school... and riding off the back of the pack.
