Routing through some old photo's last night and I found these.......
OH MY GOD WHAT WAS I THINKING OF!!!!!

This first one I think me and a previous girlfriend had gone riding in the Peak District in about '91, and I reckon this is the car park in Hope, opposite the little cafe if anyone knows it? I remember buying those leggings at a climbing shop in the peaks and thinking I was THE coolest guy in the whole country at the time

Second picture is at a race up at Robin Hoods Bay, may have been a YMBC race, Im not sure. Im riding an Orange Aluminium O, but at the time loads of people had the Orange jerseys, so to stand out from the croud, I continued to wear my AS one.

I also found a mass of pictures of the 1994 world cup from Plymouth and the '93 worlds at Metabief in France. All the greats are there, Tomac, Frischy, Deady Nedly, Tinker, Furtado etc, but I'll post them in another thread when I get a chance.

I was a marshal at Newnam Park, Plymouth, for the 1994 World Cup! Got loads of pics in the loft somewhere. I had an S Works steel with disk drive pro at the time!

Anyway getting back to "what we used to wear", here's my Been Bag stuff I still have :? , (did have more back in the day), and some Sidis I've only just bought!

I've got a pair of those SIDI's, still going strong, though the colours faded a bit, which is probably no bad thing!

Funny. I found some pics of my and my mates on the North York Moors in about 1990. Im frankly too ashamed to post up the pics. Not so much the clothes, it's the haircuts! myfave riding outfit was cut down army surplus combat trousers, fat willy t shirt and those padded lumberjack shirts and hiking boots- none of that Lycra thank god! there's plenty of flouro in those pics too and the brightest AXO boots that only a Belgian would be seen in. Oh happy inocent times.
