what was your first 'proper' mountain bike!?

when i was about ten i was upgraded prom my dads peugeot lynx to a fairly well specced bike at the time, it was orange and the brand was 'maxam' we bought it secondhand from my dads friends son.
i have got some pics somewhere but there a tad embarrising
