Yes there're huge! Industrial sized stopping. I'm 6'3" and reasonably substantial. Small brakes = not stopping. Big brakes = live to see another day :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

No, it's not just you, yessir :) - they are pretty big - I'd put a 160mm on the back, personally.

A small frame/not much seatpost extension for somebody of 6' 3"?
 
It's 18", i' ve only just finished it and not been able to check correct saddle height due to surgery! I'm still definitely 6'3" and have been since I was about 17!!! :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Also building the other A La Carte frame I have in single speed flavour, just waiting for bits to arrive from here there and every where!

Nice bike nontheless - I have a Salsa Cromoto 29er fork on my MCR 9 - good stuff.

No, it's spot on. I've one exactly the same size in Red that I've had for a couple of years and ridden successfully!!
