Someone is getting shot of that lovely looking bike for 350 quid equivalent. For some bizarre reason these beautifully painted Cavallos never seem to fetch much.

From what I've seen Cavallo were a bit of the hoors of the French mid range bike manufacturers. They would paint and build frames for just about anyone, so they got a reputation as a vanilla fabricator to industrial standards. They're not Colnago, but they're not pretending to be either. My next Steelie is going to be either a Cavallo or the equally stupid wild paint of a Spanish Contini. Like dis:

They're readily available in the south of France, because of geography. They do a very fresh integrated seat lug in chrome on the top end models, will try and dig out a photo. Of course the one everyone wants is an Otero....
