What sus fork options...

The Bible says:

Lawwill Leader 3
SR 8007
RST Mozo Pro/381L
Manitou Pro/Pro C/SX/SX Ti/FS/FS Ti
Marzocchi Z.1/Z.2/Z.3/Atom Bomb/Jr. T
Rock Shox Judy C/XC/SL/DH/DHO
Rock Shox Indy S/C/XC/SL
Rock Shox Mag 21/Quadra 5

I guess the most popular answer will be Judy or Z.x

Mozo Pros are light, work pretty good and were always rated quite well considering their price BITD.

I've got some of the Mozo XMO in Blue.
Air sprung and damped, better made than the rockshox equivalent and work much better too.
If people would only see past the rst sticker.....

I think 97 was the first year of White Brothers bicycle forks?

If so the SC72 UL would be my fork of choice for a top end XC sus' build of the period. You don't get much lighter for a telescopic fork and the look on front of an Uzzi would be very nice.

They work too!

What period suspension fork options would we have for a 1997 Intense Uzzi XC - preferably light!

You'd be crazy to consider anything other than a Z1 in Tangerine Dream (aka Bomber Orange).

You'd also be crazy to consider mozo pro's, Jesus, mine were terrible even in 97 I dread to think how they'd ride today! Never a patch on my mates Judy XC long travels, and when he put speed springs in them... Wow!
