What state is retro biking in at the moment?

...right underneath a quote from me and you that you'd amended to remove the actual text, and then further referring to the "25 year old kit" (Dura Ace) that we'd previosuly been debating? Of course it didn't refer to me.

Time to engage brain before writing and then trying to weedle out of such comments afterwards on such a lame basis. Or maybe a spine may assist?
Huh!
Seriously, it's not all about you.

The reason I chopped stuff out was to stop a single post being stupidly long. And personal insults are unnecessary.

The only point I was trying to make, was that if 25 year old kit (or 20 or 10 or 50 for that matter) was as good, it would be used by pro riders. It isn't and they don't. Nothing to do specifically with your attachment to elderly Dura Ace bits.

You're right, but then you post personal insults yourself. Perhaps you should spend some time self-censoring instead of critiques that are wrong and then complaining when you get it straight back at you.

You're also wrong about the pro-riders. Pro riders ride what they're told by their sponsors and team manager, not what they would want to or chose to. What you've written above is just a "consumer" response.

Love your photo!

My favourite handbag is the orange one (3rd line down, 4th bag along). I'm thinking of powder coating my Clockwork that colour – what you think?. I also like the fluffy handbag (1st line, 2nd along) I think this would make a rather louche and plush saddle cover too. Mmm.

Just come off a designer's forum where one of my designer friends had recommended a video that sums up the mis-match of expectations in the client/designer business relationship – "Don’t tell designers how to do their own job…". Have to say that the forum conversation underneath it was much more entertaining than the actual video, as it had descended into handbags of a spectacularly precious and grandiose variety. Basically people void of a sense of humour and lacking perspective.

May be there's room for a RB branded handbag in the merchandise section to represent the state of things ;)

Re:

It's in a right fine state now. Too many sloe gins and a couple of chainring bolts too short of a full crank set  Mind you, it's gonna be one heck of a brew by x-mas ;)
