What saddle was specced on manitou frames ??

I have a piccie of an sdg on a 97 frame but what did they come with c1995
Anyone know this :?:

Manitous were frame only, so you're free to do what ever you want!

I originally fitted a grey Flite 'Alpes' to mine, it now sports a yellow WTB Ti railed thing.

Frame only.... :? .... In my catalogue for 1997 you could buy the full bike :?

Manitou frames

I was working in a bike shop and riding Manitou frames around this time. As I remember, they were only frame sets. Certainly in the UK. The catalogue may show a built up bike but that's not uncommon for things that sell as a frame only.

Mine had a Flite Ti saddle at that time. Lots of lovely kit on it. Topline cranks, critical racing cantis, Mavic headset, Atac stem, hyperlite bars.

I had one FS and two HT but they all came as frame only.

If you like the SDG then why not. However, I don't think they were overly popular in the UK at that time. Pretty much every custom build we did was a Flite. People also liked us to leave the little plastic medallion with the red string on when they collected their bike!

I'm afraid all my manitou/answer stuff went some time ago. The nearest have t retro stuff now is an 2001 intense tracer frame sat in a box. Not sure if it's old enough to be retro through.
