Loads had the "Evolution" sized headset.I had a generic mass produced alloy frame with 1 1/4" in `91.

however someone gave me a pair of press-in reducers so I now use 1 1/8 on it

I also have an Alpinestars cro-mega with 1 1/4" which I'd like to use oversize bars on. Apart from the above are there any other methods to fit my bars? I'm not a big fan of quill stem adaptors and not sure they're available in 1 1/4" anyway.

Any help appreciated

Mountain cycle used 1.25" in the early years, and I've got an old Giant full sus frame from the mid/late 90s that's also 1.25"

Orange as mentioned. Both their original aluminium bikes, the 'O' and Elite had 1 1/8th threaded.

All my Ozones have 1 1/4 headsets, though two came with shims down to 1 1/8. The only one with original forks had a threaded set of rc35s
