Prior to the full purple overload my 'dale had in the early 90s the first bike part I was 'proud' of had to be my Girvin Flexstem. shame they kept on breaking :? After my onza ski bend bar ends this was the first 'trick bit' I had. Oh happy simple days.

It must of been someone's fave part. I have just been looking and there is a zero rise 160mm extension new stem. 160mm!! I didn't even know you could get one. Didn't Tim Davies have a custom made one when he won the Nationals? Being endowed with arms the likes of which are usually found swinging from trees in Borneo, I might be tempted. I generally use 150mm extension on my bikes. The lad in the shop didn't reckon anyone should ride with a stem longer than 100mm. Probably something to do with health and safety!
