my bad thought those wheels were s1 but a quick google seems rs 7 spokes are common as shite on all fords but the dont look dished on that car

Could it be a Saracen Trekker Hydrotech? About 1991?
Looks very like my Trekker Comp, apart from green-ness, and the triple guides along the top tube look like they are for hose. Saracen used 11/4" XT headsets on their top end bikes and DX on the rest.

the escort is a xr3i in mineral blue.....one of only 7 in that colour
when we bought it, it was a rs1600i replica, but a genuine mineral blue xr is rarer than a rs, let alone a non real rs!! so it is going back standard

Should build up nice, please check the frame for cracks around the headset

I'm pretty sure I have a pair of the 1 1/4 orange forks and stem from my cracked one, PM me if your interested

Have you painted everything incl the bottom bracket and headset cups ! or Im hoping your a dab hand with the masking seeing that its in a body shop
