What mountain bikes did you own BITD?

My progresion was different, in the 80´s I was young and had no enough money so my dream bicycles didn´t come. Marin, Kona, GT, Merlin, Rocky Mountain, Clark Kent, Voo doo (Kanzo), Alkon, Megamo (Radical), and so on.

So my bicycles were:

Celta 1989 to 1996 sold despite it was trashed.
decatlhon RR500 1996 to 1999sold the best decathlon have done. Today the 5 series are ... bad. I own a RR530ST

And that was all for that decade until 1997. No more bicycles, happy with the RR500 with his STX.RC, sountour crank set, steel cromoly main frame ... very nice one, not like the actual RR530ST I own today. Not a very good MTB, but good for commuting, mudy conditions etc.

BITD:
1988 Emelle Cougar 15 (Bought new 1988 when I was 11, sold to a mate at school)
1988 Raleigh USA Technium Chill ( Bought new 1989 in the sale, the one I'm riding in my profile pic. Sold 1991)
1991 Saracen Tufftrax Competition (Bought new, stolen during my paper round in 1991 😢)
1990 Alpinestars Al Mega DX ( Bought second hand from the MBUK Classifieds in 1991. Oddly it had the black XT frame but all DX components because the original owner didn't like the flouro yellow coloured DX frame.) Stripped it, polished the frame, put on updated 94 decals and purple bits then sold in 1994 to put the money towards my first car.

...Quite a few modern MTBs...

Then..
2021 : 1989 Raleigh USA Technium Chill (Frame bought on Ebay and restomodded with a 1x:cool:

Nothing particularly exciting BUT...
My wife rides a similar fame size to myself and some bikes seemed to have shared ownership at times. Tried to exclude ones that were specifically hers, but can't remember for sure.

1989 Saracen Tufftrax
1991 Offroad Proflex 550

Current bike is a 2007 Rock hopper, and a rather forlorn 1991 Cindercone desperately waiting for some love. Maybe this autumn.
