They use circular cutouts like that, and the plating, which starts out shiny, can discolour to a dull brown. http://clemenzo.com/index.php/content/v ... 9/lang,en/ I'm not sure they're as light as that though. Re: material, have you tested with a magnet? Marchisio sprockets are steel.

tiboltrider Retrobike Rider Gold Trader Feedback View Nov 24, 2008 #3 Bonjour Jim. Thanks does look like the Junior (apart from smallest sprocket and lock ring which are Shimano!) I haven't tested with a magnet yet as I'm guessing it's some kind of alloy to be so light.
