What is it worth.... Custom built San Andreas mountain cycle

Hi

My dad had this bike built in the US in the early 90s
He spent around £7000-8000 on it
Due to his passing my mum has given me loads of his things to sell as she is struggling without him around etc.

Does anyone have any ideas of what its worth or would anyone like to make me an offer.

The are no marks or dents to the bike and its in great condition. Some of the transfers are peeling off at the edges but this is due to age.

It has never used this bike for any serious downhill riding and has only ever been used for casual riding completely custom made.

I took it to get serviced a few days ago and the man in the shop said that it was the best built bike he had ever seen and I should be looking at around £2500 plus for it.
I then spoke to a specialist bike shop in Leeds and told him about it he said it would be in the region of £5k?
There seems to be loads of difference in price and I literally have no idea of what to try and sell if for

The what is my xyz worth is one of the right steps... It will be easier to give a valuation if you have pictures too

We thankfully have a few Andreas owners so hopefully they should join in too

I wonder if you did any online searches for completed sales... eBay, bike sites etc only even at your lowest mentioned price I suspect you maybe disappointed in what they are actually worth

Anyway... Xyz thread with pics is a good start
