What hi fi system you got ?

I had before , a complete acoustic threaded livingroom with also atmos 5.2.4 setup bowers 702s2 706s2 htm71 s2 dali alteco . Svs subs. 2 power amps rb1582mk2 and a rmb1555 and a rc1572mk2 in bypass mode with a marantz 7014 receiver . Then went back to the marantz and michi insteat of the 3 components. Butt to many cables . And i am more from music than movie. So i sold the whole set and bough myself some sopra no1,s . Had a dedicated power line only for the set with special fuse holder and shielded cable to a diy furutech socketbox. To a niagra 1200. Its a nice butt exspensive hobby o this niveau 😂💪💪 i just ad some photo,s , never ever in my life i would think i can have a system like this🙏🏻🙏🏻

FWIW, It's a sound quality car, not SPL. (Most people aren't even aware that's a thing).

Many hours of work to get to this point, and many more yet to come - and I'm also only in an entry level class.

Yes, was the same for Martin, he lent me some hi-fi test and setup CDs which were interesting.
He was cutting and welding heavy sections into the car for speaker performance!

My mate had a set of wharfedale xp2 on the back seat of his manta

Better than the factory 4 inch drivers

Not sure what I would do with a car

So many rattly bits, metal bits, plastic bits. It's hard to make a coherent speaker enclosure out of that lot

That's the challenge! Also an opportunity as I understand it as a smaller space / shorter time to pressurise. Or something like that. I'm still listening to 1990's Panasonic midi system most of the time! 🤪

Yep, That's part of the challenge - getting rid of all the resonance & rattles. I'm still chasing a panel resonance that only occurs at about 40hz. Which isn't awful when you consider that I have a decent output all the way down to 9 hz :). Panels are treated for resonance, and as much decoupling & absorption as possible.

The plus side is you can get some significant corner loading in cars and lots of free dBs!
