I think the frame was made by Pacific bikes as I have a 1992 Maxam hot chille confirmed as made by them. Here's my frame number my cable guides are the same as yours.Picked this up at a bootfair a few years back...
Thought I'd try and solve the mystery by just getting lucky on Google but no...I'll be stabbing in the dark for ages
It's a 1 1/4" headset...which kinda dates it I'd imagine around v late eighties or early nineties... absolutely no other clues other than serial number! Forks are nicely finished into dropouts.....
Anyone suggestions ?

The stem that came with it...no makers marks!
Clearly repainted like the fork...so was black also.

Never had forks on an MTB with such little material/wall thickness on steerer tube at crown...seems very thin to me!

And just spotted these on bridges ...presume for mudguards....really!

I can 100% guarantee it’s not a Claud, but I recon you’d already worked that out?I have been looking at Claud butler's ... It's a nope!
I haven't actually found another bike with the same fork either....dropouts are quite nice on it...it's definitely something different feel like I'm clutching at straws just randomly looking at ally early nineties bikes now....might get lucky!
You ever heard the expression "owning the bank"Yeah, draw up a massive tab with the golden words of "It will even itself out"
Great that's another possibility ironed outI can 100% guarantee it’s not a Claud, but I recon you’d already worked that out?
I've not seen yours on my internet travels and searches...they're pretty competent bikes...I know little about suspension I kinda let that pass me by as I picked up my teeth...but your bike for a 92 looks to me to be quite a piece of kit! So little seems to be out there the most I've found is a few randoms on Google images then everything else on here...I think the frame was made by Pacific bikes as I have a 1992 Maxam hot chille confirmed as made by them. Here's my frame number my cable guides are the same as yours.
Would you like to see my bottom bracket?I dunno. It's a funny old game this is.
You need to publicly expose an undercarriage , compare it with other undercarriages from other people who you hardly know, and on the strength of it, post up more more pictures of your undercarriage, but now polished and adorned with a M730 gruppo.
There's a post-graduate research study right there.
