Hmmm ...that has same square canti mounts, canti hanger and rear derailleur cable stop but that's about it...downtube looks ovalised at the headtube ....mines round there's no working of tubes they're all plain round.
That is exactly what I thought when I bought it my local bike shop had these back in the day. I did quite like the yellow version at the time....lot of bike for not a lot of money! Again another good call....maybe there was some variations with cable layouts? Fork is different....the legs land on dropout directly over axle and don't appear as fat at the bottom! You have pics of your frame?
Great call more sleuthing clues to investigateIt doesn't look too dissimilar from a Scott vantage I had a bit back. That had the same rear canti mount, cable guides and the dropouts look similar.
Any chance it could be an early Merlin Malt?
I've just had a look ....thought you'd nailed it...very similar but cable routing all different! It doesn't look too dissimilar from a Scott vantage I had a bit back. That had the same rear canti mount, cable guides and the dropouts look similar.
I have been looking at Claud butler's ... It's a nope!Is it possibly a claud butler as some models came with the over sized fork but majority had all cables running across the top tube, or something else from the same family
