What have I bought?

Picked these up for £3 at a cycle fair yesterday. I think I know what they are, Cannondale headshock parts. Am I correct? Are they rare? Can I put them on ebay and retire? (i'll use the xyz thread for the latter ) They are NOS.

they look like the bits that came with my F3000 SL headshock.

All you need to do now is buy the rest of the 'Dale to go with them.

the 2 tubes are the outer parts of the headshock slider, the 8 strips are known as slats (about 10quid a set rrp) the bearings are about 16 quid a set and the shock boots are arond 7quid each, the little round clips are retaining rings i think.

No chance of retirement then! Guess it's off to ebay with international shipping, rare and kult in the title. Might make my £3 back with a bit of luck.

I bet a cannondale dealer would give you a few quid for them... Owners are reluctant to strip them themselves.

The tube looks like a steerer tube off a Lefty.

No more Raleigh stuff at the cycle fair eh?
