Conventional wisdom says a GT as they were usually wearing them bitd.
That said, what was really DH about them? They are a Judy chassis with rebound and compression damping if that's the version you have, so anything xc goes really.
Buck the trend and throw them on a pace, orange or something different, something that wears red forks well would be my choice over something expected. Though on some frames they are just right, like a zasksr.
