Is there something I need to measure to calculate maximum front suspension travel?

I'm not sure if the very first ones were suspension-corrected or not. Even if it is corrected, travel will be short. 100mm is good, 80 is better. I've got RockShox SIDs (80mm) on a mid 90's titanium M-Trax and they seem to suit it well.

have you actually ridden a mid-90's bike with 100mm forks? horrible doesnt even come close
