Hey,bought this bike last summer and spent some time collecting/buying parts for it,now it's pretty much finished and where I want it to be,I just want to get rid of the horrible red rock shox Judy forks for something nicer. I just don't like them at all,I want a completely different fork, they are terribly spongy and too red. Can anyone recommend a fork suitable for the bike that-
Isn't an insane in your face colour(yellow/red!)
Is pretty stiff or with adjustment that actually works.
Has a caliper mount to fit my hope brakes (m4/3's)
Will fit a 'proper' style old front hub (not the hollow 20mm modern type!)
And lastly something without stupid amounts of travel! I don't need loads of travel.
Sorry if the requests are a bit vague but I've been out of the game since passing my driving test in 97 and my carbon trek got sold to pay for car insurance and in recent years I always wanted another bike to keep fit on and as a kid the San Andreas was way beyond my reach, now I finally have one,I want it just right! Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent fork? I do t want to buy stupidly expensive new stuff either, something with a few years on that's perhaps in good nick or needs a rebuild kit to be perfect, but must tick all the above boxes! Here's a few pics of how it looks now!
