In 1992 when I would have been 13 years old I used to ride with an older bunch of guys, I lived in Marlow and one day we went to Damien White’s house, when we were there he produced the F1 bike that he had just received as part of his sponsorship, prior to this he had been riding a Pace Rc100, I asked him how he afforded the Pace and he said that he had gotten a bank loan for it and at the time he was working at Snappy Snaps in Henley on Thames. I never knew everyone’s names in the group as I was quite shy and young but one of the guys there said he had a Trimble on order, it was a fun time in my life.
