But theres such a choice, and all jumping on the bandwagon.
20", 26",29". town riding, shopping or commute, against touring, or touring and then using the same bike in offroad setting(once you've pitched/set up/b&b etc)
Something sit up like a tern, or larger wheels more aerobic positioning normally found for touring.
Can you buy frame/motor/battery alone ?, because lets face it, the vast majority of bits are low end unbranded to mid range gear and brake systems. Im not a snob, but sod paying 3 or 4 thousand for unbranded crap and shitty brakes.
Like everyone here I'm up to my eyeballs in quality kit, so I'd like the opportunity to swop it all over rather than pay premium for useless bits.
Another question is What E-bike Forum do people recommend ?. Hopefully no new to cycling ergo ebikes and anyone who doesnt is a tit or lesser cyclist. Elitist snobs who've been cycling a couple of years. That type to avoid, though I expect they'll always be around.
