What do you ride?

I ride the mount vision round town every couple of days but never off road.
and my scott goes off road about once a week

I ride an old Jamis full susser with lockout around most of the time, it lives in the back of my van, and can take the terrain the dogs enjoy. If I am heading out from home it is usually a GF hardtail. Yes I usually ride my GF.

If I am going for a long road ride it is usually a racer, with mudguards!

I am yet to turn my Clockwork into a SS pub bike, then I think it will get all the local running.

Now it is 'that time of year' where often as not there is diesel all over cold tarmac my motorbikes are all off the road, bar one Beemer traily for the weekly trip out West.

I have resigned myself to the reality that there is no such thing as one bike to do it all, but I am intending to get the new Jones Steel Original and making that my all round bike.

:)

 please keep us updated :)

The Kona 29er singlespeed seems to be the first choice more often than not. But the jumpy/geared/big fork bike has found a place for trail centre duties. The Salsa still has its race tag on from 10 at Kirroughtree  will need to sort that out soon because it does ride very very nicely! A new retro summer fleet shall be rolling out soon enough though :)

i ride whichever one is clean  but they do tend to get alternated normally. If i'm honest though the Eriksen has been relegated in favour of the DeKerf just now as the most of the riding i have been able to do recently doesn't warrant 5" of travel up front

the 1990 lava dome is in bits.
the 1989 sarracen tufftrax has never been ridden
the 19?? marin muirwoods is being built
the 1997 cinder cone was ridden at the last sw retrobike ride
the 1998 dale super v was ridden at last janurarys haldon retrobike ride
the 2008 stumpy fsr was ridden last month
the spesh road bike about 6 weeks ago
and tomorrow when daj drops my new ride a 1996 zaskar off i will be on it straight away

kirbdug :D

My do it all bike at the moment is a 94 GT Zaskar with Bomber Z3's, commuter, trail centres, everything, sometimes use the Clunker or a 91 Clockwork for round the streets or commuting.

Last time i took the Clockwork offroad i found it a handfull with the flat 150mm stem so thats waiting on a shorter higher stem.

Take the Clunker offroad sometimes but really restricted to tame park trails, it's a bit compromised with drum brakes, did try it on a few trail centres but was lucky to have survived TBH

Just got a Club Roost DH8 finished which is a hoot to ride so i'll be using that more, even for commuting.

If a bike lies for a year unridden i tend to strip it, dont see the need for more than four bikes, fancy another single speed though, maybe something modern, steel with decent forks and discs.

91 GT Talera, ride it most days as its my runabout shop bike.
97 Klein pulse race, completely lost interest in this so has been frame only for the last 2 years.
98 FSR, used to be my goto bike but since the boardman arrived ive neglected her
10 Boardman pro, This is my new love last ridden on Wednesday night and due out tomorrow :D
