If a spoke protector is on a "gorgeous retrobike" we have no hope for humanity. The two things cannot fuse together, even if CERN tried for 30 years. If by a freak of nature or spatial dynamic circumstance such a thing presents itself, Trump can do us all a favour and drop the bomb.

Guilty of so many of these
Quill to ahead adaptors for me, worst case being skinny steel frames, 1" steerer, 1 1/8" ahead stem and 31.8mm bars - absolutely gopping!
Also risers with bar-ends, hideous.

V's on a canti frame.
Modern saddle, seatpost or stem.
Lock on grips.
Risers pre-94.
Forks with too much travel.
Non period correct front suss.
Modern groupset.
