What do I do now?!

Retro Newbie
I have a 1998 Gary Fisher Big Sur with a Judy XC. I Pulled it out and dusted the cobwebs off to help rekindle my love of mountain biking. I found that the Judy has a hole in it near the bottom. It is frozen and is a goner! I need ideas on a replacement fork that will fit. Any direction would much appreciated.

Marzocchi is my first choice for forks of that era. Z2's probably for that frame.

They are really plush and go on forever with a bit of love (occasionally they crack near the fork brace so inspect any pair that you buy)

I have a Judy XC on the way, it's the earlier gold one but could combine the good bits from yours and mine to make you a nice working fork. I'd even do the work for you if you send me yours. It's a bolt on steerer so would be easy to swap over no need to remove crown etc from your bike.
Send me a PM if interested. Tim :)
