HI all I have two Azonic riser bars that i want to offer on here but don't know what to charge postage. Royal mail would be a large parcel? i think but not sure.

I dont live near too much else so not sure whats available as Collect+ that i use for CRC only takes 50x30x30cm

Does anybody know what i should allow when pricing? thanks

should add that ive been on RM site but med parcel only goes up to 60cm so presuming large at £6.90 which seems prohibitive!

If you look at the main Royal Mail price thread in this forum you will see there are some different rules for cylindrical parcels. Roughtly speaking its one parcel size down from the one you would expect.

I was told it would literally have to be cylindrical, i.e.. packed in one of their standard poster tubes to get this price.

Ttheir prices are ridiculous. I was hoping to only make a get £5 for each bar but postage means I would have to sell them for silly money!!!!

Try interparcel with Hermes or the Collect and send (I think its called) works out about £5 postage then.

I received a set if cinelli road bars and stem about a month ago that cost £4.30 to post Royal Mail 1st Class and I sent a set of criteriums through the post last week that cost around £3.30 2nd class. Both were sent boxed. Hope that's of some use, unless prices have changed massively in the past few days those prices should give you a rough idea,
Cheers.

Yes they have changed massively literally in the last few days! Well I think it came in 2nd April.

Road bars tend to be less than 45cm, riser MTB bars can easy be over 62cm.
