What damage have you done to a bike in a fit of temper?

in '97 at the Cornwall MBC race down near Treddinick (I think) I was 2nd but my font mech was knackered and it kept dropping the chain. On the final 1/2 mile it happened at the top of a climb and jammed between the granny and bb. As I was trying to free it 2 people passed me! the red mist descended and I threw my bike only for it to land squarely on my new flite saddle fitted the previous day (!) snapping in in half. This was witnessed by the staff of the shop I rode for ops: :( I finished 3rd very annoyed at having lost a race I could have won and pushed my bike into the ditch. Only it didn't go where I expected and instead carried on straight through a throng of people causing them to scatter

a severe talking to was had by my mum and shop staff

Riding a cyclo-cross mid 80's, very muddy and slippery and I couldn't stop falling off. Chucked bike into a pond, completely covering it. Walked away in disgust determined to leave it there when the mist lifted slightly and I remembered how much it had cost. Went back and literally 'fished' it out, luckily it wasn't deep only very muddy. The bearings etc. were fine and I rode it next week OK.

Another time out on a mid-winter road club run, 30 miles from home, freezing foggy cold, double puncture F and R, mend tubes and refit, get long 'roadie' pump and start pumping - and the handle bent completely over. I kick front wheel, painfully damaging toe nail on spoke in process (it turned black and came off later), hurl pump into adjacent ploughed field - and remember it is fitted with a Campagnolo push-fit adapter worth a few quid. Have to walk 100 yds across muddy ploughed field to get it and then ride 30 miles home with toenail throbbing - and ego severley dented.

There's probably a lot more after almost 50 years at the game!
