Wonder why they are so poorly marked when all the rest of their stuff has M numbers etc?

give it a wash, youll find the parts numbers printed on the alloy carrier.

Do what i do, stick it in the dishwasher.You'll be able to read what it is then.

I just counted the cogs - it's 7 speed

and I just found the markings - CS-M737

Then you are missing somrthing....737is 8 speed I'm sure
