What bike shops would you go out of your way to visit?

Riks Bike Shed at Drumlanrig.

Bothy bikes Aviemore.

BITD Gear of Glasgow was a good shop and the original Edinburgh Bike Co-op was good too. Not sure what they are like these days.

I've dealt with 18Bikes over the phone/net and they were most helpful, recommended :)

terry's cycles in Yate nr bristol

it goes double if the rumours about what's in their bunker are to be believed

.

Wheelies-Uplands Swansea. For all things modern, nice people
Hobbs Bikes-Carmarthen. For all things, I need to go in there with a camera so I can show you lot the classic road bikes he's got tucked away upstairs, I spent a long time up there on my own drooling  :D

went out of my way to visit a shop in vancouver in '92, can't remember the name but it was big, had a toad with mountain cycles discs on it for about £500 at the time what with the exchange rate & loads of other gear that had me drooling as it wasn't in the uk yet

Southdowns Cycles - Angmering

Hmm... I had a small nightmare with the Storrington branch, prefer using Blazing Saddles in Rustington myself, Quest in Worthing are supposed to be pretty good too, run by JP who used to be the boss of Second Level Sports - he has a very, VERY nice King Kahuna!

Extreme Sports in Worthing, gone but not forgotten!!!

Also Motosport in Smithbrook Kilns, I used to nag my dad to take me up there at weekends - don't think I ever bought anything from there, but they had some incredible bikes on show! Slightly OT, sorry!

When in Belgium I always like to visit the Heny bikeshop on the outskirts if Poperinge.

Modern stuff and quite a lot of it road related but there's always a lot to browse around and one or two clothing brands not often found in the UK,
