What BB does my 1993 kona lave dome have?

Going to change mine. Never done it before so don't really know much about them. In the Kona retro catalogue it just says Shimano cartridge.

There are 3 types am I right in thinking? Square taper/ Octalink and then The really nice ones that go with really nice cranks. :?:

Have a look and see what's there already

Almost certainly square taper and 68mm shell width. Axle length will depend on what cranks you have.

Could also be a cup/axle type rather than sealed I suppose - that's what my '92 Cinder Cone was.

Excellent cheers. Will get a square taper 68mm. Will measure the length of what comes off.

May get a BB socket to make life easier.
